Students 17 years and older with a diploma or GED can apply for this academy.  This is a great way to get started in construction, heavy equipment operator, or mechanic work.  The program runs June 3-20.  An application and additional information can be found below.

 The Copper River Basin Lions Club scholarship awards are for individuals who will be full-time students in any course
which leads to a certificate or degree in an apprenticeship program, trade, technical or vocational school; or an accredited
college.  Application is attached below.  Must be post-marked by April 21st.

The Fairbanks area apprenticeship training committee are accepting applications on a continuous basis for their program.  You must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or  G.E.D, valid Alaska driver's license, and a Workkeys assessment.  Click here for an application.

Seniors that have been Alaska residents for at least two years and planning to pursue a career in the Alaska Hospitality industry are encouraged to apply.  Click here for additional application information.  Due April 30th.

The Ahtna Heritage Foundation was created to assist Ahtna shareholders in meeting their educational goals. Our scholarship, The Walter Charley Memorial Scholarship, funds Ahtna shareholders who are either full or part-time students. Funding for the Walter Charley Memorial Scholarship is generously provided by Ahtna Incorporated. Click here for application information.  Due July 15th.

The Irene Tansy Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Kenny Lake School.  For information, please visit the Ahtna Heritage Foundation website by clicking here.  Due May 9th at 5 pm.

  The Sy Neeley Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to current year graduating students residing in the Copper River School District.  The scholarship is intended for those going into the vocational trades.  Preference will be given to those going into the construction trades.  The application is attached below.  Due April 25th.

Graduating seniors from Kenny Lake School, SAPA, or home schoolers in the Kenny Lake, Willow Creek, or Tonsina areas are eligible to apply for this scholarship.  Application is attached below.  Due April 15th!

Seniors-the American Legion scholarship is available again this year.  The application is attached.  Due April 30th, 2014.
