This scholarship is for high school seniors interested in pursuing a degree in engineering.  Through our Alaska Engineering Education Foundation (AEEF) and Anchorage Engineers Week we fund a number of scholarships.  There are two AEEF scholarships  awarded state-wide--one for $2000 through AEEF, awarded as $1000 over a two year period and a second, from ASPE is $1500.  There are also several awards offered at the local level through our annual Engineers Week celebration.  The number and amounts of those scholarships vary depending on the amount of money raised during our fundraising efforts.  Last year, there were over $30,000 dollars in scholarships were awarded!  This one application will place a student in consideration for ALL scholarships.
 
Attached is the scholarship application. Please note that the deadline for submittal is January 15, 2016.  Winners will be announced the week of February 22.  Students must plan on attending an ABET accredited engineering program and the funds will be sent to the financial aid office of the college or university. 

This scholarship is open to any high school senior or college student in Alaska. He or she must be enrolled at a two-year to five-year institution in 2016. A minimum GPA is not required. Click here for applications details.  Due February 20th.

Applicants must be a member of Denali Federal Credit Union and have a  GPA of 2.25 or higher. See the attachment below for further details.  Due April 4th.

The BP Process Technology Scholarship supports training for students who are interested in a career in Process Technology. An A.A.S degree in Process Technology prepares you for employment as an operations technician in the process industry. The program appeals to people who enjoy the challenges of using advanced computer technology and instrumentation to operate a variety of equipment systems and industrial processes. Process technology is defined as the study and application of the scientific principles associated with the operation and maintenance of the chemical processing industry.
