Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange to Germany; Due December 18th

Scholarships are available for students desiring to spend the 2015-16 school year in Germany.

Basic Eligibility: To be considered eligible for a CBYX scholarship, you must be:

  • A U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident
  • Between the ages of 15 years and 18 years and 6 months at the start of the program
  • A current high school student at the time of application, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

WILD10 World Wilderness Congress in SPAIN!  Apply today!

Wrangell Institute for Science & Environment (WISE) is supporting the recruiting of two students from the Copper River Basin between the ages of 14 and 19 to attend the World Wilderness Congress (WILD10) in Salamanca, Spain, from October 4 through 10, 2013. There will be two travel days before and after the Congress. Essentially the students would be out of the classroom eight days learning life changing experiences. Study Abroad Scholarship Programs

High school students: There are several scholarship programs that help support study abroad opportunities. Check them out!

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad Program offers scholarships to American high school students to spend the 2013-14 academic year in countries that may include Bosnia & Herzegovina, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mali (semester), Morocco, Oman, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, and Turkey. Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program-to study in Germany; Scholarships are now available for academic year 2013-14; application deadlines vary by U.S. region and range from September 2012 to January 2013. For more information and application deadlines, visit the organization in charge of recruitment for your state at USAGermanyScholarship.org.

The American Youth Leadership Program offers opportunities for American high students and educators to travel abroad on a three- to four-week-long exchange program. Recruitment areas and application deadlines vary, so please check the American Youth Leadership Program website for more information.
