Ayn Rand’s novels are inspiring and intellectually challenging. But they can also be financially rewarding for high school and college students.Students in 8th grade can also apply for this contest.   The Ayn Rand Institute sponsors annual essay contests that offer over 600 prizes and $100,000 in prize money each year. ANSEP has partnered with the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp (EMBHSSC) to provide activities, experiments, projects, and field experiences for students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall after camp.

The camp promotes science, technology, engineering, mathematics education and supports historically underserved and underrepresented students with limited opportunities. Students attend the camp free of charge. Students currently in grade 5, 6, or 7 who have an interest in science and mathematics and at least a “B” average in science and mathematics are eligible.  Click here for more information.

The SAT will be given at Glennallen School on May 4th. Registration deadline is April 5th.  Registration deadline for the CTY program is March 4th.
