There is a February 15th deadline for scholarships for students planning to attend any of the University of Alaska campuses. Students must have applied for admission, submitted their FAFSA, and completed the scholarship application by this date. The links you will need to the University of Alaska campuses are found under the Parents tab.
The FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) is an important document to complete for any student going on to college. To complete it, you will need 2012 tax information. If you have not filed your 2012 taxes yet, you can submit the FAFSA using 2011 tax information. Then, you can adjust your answers after you finish your 2012 taxes. The FAFSA website is www.fafsa.ed.gov. Click on the "Read More" link for additional info!
