The Launch! is a weekend orientation for summer conservation crews.  If you are 15-19 years old and are interested in working on a 4 week summer conservation crew, this orientation would be great to attend.  See the attached document for more information.  Due March 1st.

Wrangell Institute for Science & Environment (WISE) is supporting the recruiting of two students from the Copper River Basin between the ages of 14 and 19 to attend the World Wilderness Congress (WILD10) in Salamanca, Spain, from October 4 through 10, 2013. There will be two travel days before and after the Congress. Essentially the students would be out of the classroom eight days learning life changing experiences. The Alaska Summer Research Academy (ASRA) offers engaging and in-depth experiences in science and engineering throughout the year.  During the summer, ASRA offers two 2-week academies, a residential High School program, and a day-only Middle School program.
